George and Amal Clooney Are Proud Parents Of Twins!

Hollywood Megastar George Clooney 56 and his wife Amal Clooney 39 have welcomed their twin baby’s into the world this Tuesday.

In an email message, George Clooney’s publicist said, “This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.” Adding the humorous line “George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”

George Clooney and Amal Clooney married in Italy in 2014 making them one of the world’s biggest celebrity couples.
It has not been disclosed where the twins were born, but the couple have been spending a lot of time in England where they have one several homes.

George and Amal have kept the news private and maintained a low profile until confirming the new in February this year. Social media was buzzing on Tuesday after the announcement, with “Ella and Alexander” amongst the top trending topics on the like of Twitter in the United States.

Praising the choice of the twins names as “refreshingly” normal change in trend where celebrities have been giving their babies names such as Apple, Audio, Bronx, North West and Rocket. George Clooney is said to have cancelled a planned visit to Armenia for a humanitarian event this past weekend, saying in a message to the organizers that he came there and “my wife had twins whilst away, I could never come home.”

George Clooney as well as being an actor is also a filmmaker, activist and philanthropist. He has received three Golden Globe Awards for his work as an actor and two Academy Awards in his career so far. George found international fame as an actor as Dr Doug Ross in the long running medical drama series ER from 1994 to 1999. Receiving two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for his role.

2001 saw his fame widen due to the success of the remake of the film Ocean’s Eleven, the first of a highly successful trilogy. In a tongue in cheek nod to the films comedian Ellen DeGeneres posted a message saying, Congratulations, George and Amal, or as I’m now calling you, Ocean’s four.
