J.K Rowling Just Insulted President Trump And Its Going Viral Like Wild Fire

Famous author of the Harry Potter franchise, J.K. Rowling has never been shy to speak her mind. Twitter is where people just spew out their opinions without a concern of what other think, so when you put Rowling and Twitter what do you get?

You guessed it, her mocking the United States President. Now there is no denying that Rowling is incredible, She created an entire cleverly crafted world, with sports, rules, laws and even a government, so her level of intelligence isn’t questionable. However her recent jab at the US President Donald Trump is a little, well it’s awkward.

Listen, it’s not the first time she’s mocked the president, comparing him to Voldemort, calling him a ‘giant orange Twitter egg’ and she’s made it very clear that she doesn’t agree with his policies. That’s all fair as everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Trump tweeted ‘Who was it that secretly said to Russian President, “Tell Vladimir that after the election I’ll have more flexibility?” @foxandfriends’ which everyone believes is Trump’s way of further implicating Obama having bugged his phone during the election. Well, this was Rowling’s response to the president’s behaviour; ‘I’ve just realised who he is, he’s Vicky Pollard.’ For those who don’t know who Vicky Pollard is, she’s a character from famous Britain sketch comedy ‘Little Britain’, this comparison’s a bit of a stretch.

She then followed with another tweet; ‘Ohmygod I SO can’t believe you think I’m in bed with Putin bcos there’s this whole thing with Obama that you don’t even know nothing about.’ Yeah, we’re also cringing. Rowling is currently coming off a mini-feud with Piers Morgan as well. This came after Comedian Jim Jefferies lost his cool on Real Time with Bill Maher last month whilst being there with Morgan.

They engaged in a spirited debate about Donald Trump (funny how he’s the common denominator). The discussion was how Trump should no longer be labelled as the lesser of two evils – the other being Hilary Clinton. Morgan stated ‘Calm down, Bill, There is no Muslim ban’ which comedian Jefferies responded with ‘Oh, fuck off, It’s a fucking Muslim ban. He said there was a Muslim ban, it’s a Muslim Ban.’

J.K Rowling had this tweet about the whole thing; ‘Yes, watching Piers Morgan being told to fuck off on live TV is *exactly* as satisfying as I’d always imagined.’ Morgan swiftly responded saying; ‘This is why I never read a single word of Harry Potter.’ Her response was designed to poke the flaws of his comeback tweet ‘because you had a premonition that one day the author would roar with laughter at seeing you called out for your bullshit on live TV?’

Rowling and Morgan went back and forth with Morgan even stating that the two have helped each other in the past. After all the backlash he had this to say regarding the matter ‘I don’t agree with the travel ban but it’s not a Muslim ban if 85% of the world’s Muslims aren’t affected’. Twitter is clearly the place for uncensored opinions and feuds!
