Mike Tyson Is Now Closely Following Soulja Boy Vs. Chris Brown Boxing Match
For those not up to speed with the upcoming celebrity boxing match between Chris Brown and Soulja boy, let me fill you in. It all started, as so many spats are, on social media.
What happened is Soulja Boy liked an Instagram picture of Karreueche Tran, Chris Browns’s ex. He then went on to add a few heart-eye emoticons, you know the ones. From there, things got nasty, to say the least. So it appears they will settle their social media war of Tweets like men, well, school boys perhaps, in the ring.
This won’t be some “behind the bicycle shed rumble” either with Brown being trained by none other than the infamous Mike Tyson and Soulja Boy will have Floyd Mayweather in his corner. A phone call from 50 Cent to Tyson was recently shared to Instagram, it went like this: “Listen Mike, they say Floyd’s going to be training Soulja Boy, so I said I’ve gotta get Mike Tyson to train Chris Brown.”
“Yeah, Soulja Boy’s gonna get fucked up,” was Tyson’s response. The tweets and posted videos flew back and forth both baiting each other before the showdown. Floyd Mayweather is seeing dollar signs and his involvement goes more that of supporting Soulja Boy. He is toting the upcoming event as a pay-per-view live event. Never one to miss an opportunity to make a few dollars from a celebrity showdown.
It promises to be a fierce duel if the Twitter posts are anything to go by, assuming it goes the scheduled three rounds. Soulja Boy On Instagram: “It’s going down! Signed my contract I’m leaving the fight with $1,000,000.” The fight is due to go down in Las Vegas in March. Boy continued: “I got the best ever my big bro @floydmayweather training me damn…”
Never one to remain silent Brown Tweeted to his 34 million strong Twitter following: “Now that we have your undivided attention, boxing match set,” adding, “Legally. Man to Man. No more dissing and no more talking. We in the ring with it. Challenge accepted.” 50 Cent is putting his money where his mouth is, saying he is putting down $100,000 on Soulja Boy.
No doubt there will be a lot more Twitter sparring between the two before we get to see the real action. I am sure it will make for some entertaining viewing.
