Witches Are Casting Mass Spells Against President Trump!

Witches opposed to Donald Trump’s tenure as president performed a mass spell on Friday night designed to hasten his removal from office.

The Witches are set to repeat the spell whenever there is a waning crescent moon, the next being on the 26th of March. This ritual will continue until President Trump leaves the White House. A Facebook Group supporting the ritual has attracted over 10,000 likes so far and also coined the hashtag #magicresistance.

The spell is said to contain a plea to Wiccan deities to “bind Donald J Trump, so that his malignant works may fail utterly” also that he, “shall not break our polity, usurp our liberty, or fill our minds with hate, confusion, fear and despair. President Trump’s supporters are also included, in the spell it asks for their “malicious tongues” be silenced too.

Michael Hughes, a writer posted a version of the spell online, using an orange candle, a picture of President Trump and a Tower tarot card. Those involved are to scratch the President’s name into the candle, recite the incantation and then burn the picture. The closing line of “So mote it be!” could be replaced with the words, “You’re fired!”

A “binding spell” does not wish harm the target, it merely aims to stop the person from harming themselves. The ritual is seen as a “unity prayer” according to MaryPat Azevedo who told the BBC, “A true witch would never cast a spell on anyone without their permission. This prayer is for wellbeing and peace for all beings.”

Christian conservatives have accused the witches of “declaring spiritual war”. Joshua Feuerstein, an evangelical pastor has issued an urgent warning in which he says “millions of witches” are trying to curse the president. In an online video, he states “Their bippity-boppity-boo isn’t more powerful than the name of Jesus!”

A religious group, The Christian Nationalist Alliance posted online calling the witches occultists and urge people to pray whenever the witches cast their spell on the President. President Trump has so far, failed to comment on the issue.
